Hi. I think the idea of having a skins site is great, but if you're going to have one, it needs to be better organized. It seems that the only skins you seem to have are for dashboard. If you aren't going to include skins for the other programs you should call it a dashboard skins page instead of a general one. Also, if you do have skins for the other programs (i.e. WIS Bar) you should include a link to that section. Hope that helps.

Sincerely,
Rez

Hi Rez (hi-res!),

Not sure why you think these are Dashboard skins. At the top of the skins page you can see that the skins:

"Skins allow you to modify the graphical look of the Today screen, Start menu, and the menu bars under Pocket PC 2002."

These are all Pocket PC 2002 themes and are of extension .TSK. Would it make sense to remain everything to "Themes"?

Hi there. Yeah, I saw the part referring to PocketPC 2002 but I didn't realize PPC '02 was skinnable. Themes would make a better description though, because when the word "skin" is used I usually look for a program reference. Will you include an actual skins page for programs?

Should the demand exist and we can accurately conclude what the coolest skinning apps are (for 2002), we'll go ahead and upgrade our system.

I have replaced my iPAQ 3670 with a brand new 3850 and I like the built-in Dashboard Today capability.
I had purchased Dashboard for my old iPAQ so I could 'skin it'.
I really like your collection of skins, but I am way confused 8-{>
On my PPC 2002 under the Today setup, the skins files included are .dsh extensions. Your skins are all .tsk extensions and my iPAQ 3870 won't even recognize them.
Are these really skins for the new OS Today screen?
How do you use them?
TIA,
GMTHREE

Hi gmthree,

Sorry for the confusion. Dashboard is a 3rd party product, not something built into 2002. Visit http://skins.pocketnow.com and read the FAQ at the top. If you're still confused, ask again.
