I am using the latest version of Dashboard and I notice that I am getting intermittent lock-ups. It happens in a variety of places. Today it happened whilst I was editing a contact. The only way for me to get out is to soft-reset...

I just tried reinstalling last night (completely removed all add-ins and wiped out their former directories), but it still has this problem.

I am using a Casio E-125 and I have installed the app to my storage card (could this be the prob??)..

Any suggestions?

Same problem with my Jornada 568. Dashboard keeps freezing. Finally narrowed it down. Not a problem with Dashboard --- when I remove WIS bar, all seems to be well.

Hmmm...I don't even have WIS bar installed, so it can't be that for me...ugh

Wow. One week and only one reply. Chris, do you have any records of this or can you recommend anything??

Good luck getting any response.

I've tried to get a hold of someone here and at support@snoopsoft.com for about a week now and only a very vague reply (1) from Chris telling me to "let him know if I haven't heard from him yet"...

Wow. I guess customer service is something SnoopSoft just doesn't understand...

I disagree very strongly. Chris is about the most responsive developer out there. My guess is he is hunkered down tryiing to resolve the issue, spending all his time working on a fix. I am sure he will come back soon with good news. Remember, he did not have a 56X he developed it for the ARM processor using an IPAQ. when he heared of the issues he went out and bought an HP soo he could see for himself what has happened. So sit tight

If that's so, then I apologize...

It's a great program, I am just a bit concerned about it freezing on me.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the lack of presence anywhere. I really do feel bad about it because I am usually very responsive both here and through email. I have been traveling a bit lately - of course right around the release time - and have been either unable to pull emails or unable to respond to them due to time constraints. So as it stands right now, I've cleared out my 'Chris Scott' Inbox of emails sent directly to me and I have close to 150 emails in the generic folder for the emails sent to the web addresses. I plan to get to those over the next few days, but I need to get working on some of the issues with the release also.

I did go and purchase an HP 568 before leaving and I've noticed that if I turn off the mini-launcher, the unit speeds up considerably. I find this a bit odd since the Pocket PC 2002 iPaq that I have works flawlessly with the Mini Launcher enabled. I am investigating a fix for it now and will get it out to you just as soon as I can get it coded and tested. I've even accepted a few new beta testers into the fold to hopefully round out my testing more since this last release wasn't very stellar.

Sorry for the long-winded post, but too much info is better than silence! :)

Thanks for hanging in there - I'll get it all worked out just as soon as I can...
