(This was also reported via the support email address.)
I purchased Dashboard and have version 1.3.001c installed on my Compaq iPAQ 3635 with Pocket PC. I have the 'Beige' skin installed.
It appears that there is a problem with tasks that have multiple categories. All tasks that have just one category are displayed properly. When I choose a category with the task list header, I do not see any tasks that have been categorized with the chosen category unless the category is the first one in the list of categories that have been assigned to the task. This means that I don't see a lot of tasks where I would expect them to be.
I have tried this with the default Blue skin as well - same action. I have 'refreshed' the display each time - but this does not help.
Should Dashboard support multiple categories on tasks?
Another unusual action related to multiple categories - when I choose a task list that includes tasks with single and multiple categories (the chosen category is the first one in the multiple list) and do a refresh - all the tasks show. Then I choose a different category and see a different list. Then I go back to the original category listing and I only see the listing of tasks with the single category - I have to do another refresh to get the multiple categorized tasks back in the list. I would think that the refresh on the initial listing would prevail so when I went right back to it I would see the same list but this is not so.
I have reviewed the task listings with the standard Windows Tasks program and everything appears fine - all mutliple categorized tasks show up in each category listing - it's just the Tasks lists in Dashboard that show the problem. I've also made sure that the category list is the same on my PC and my Pocket PC. I'm using Outlook 98 on my desktop.
You've got a great program with Dashboard but there seems to be some problems with the category logic in the software when multiple categories are encountered.
My wife has an identical machine and the same setup. She continually loses access to the Dashboard 'Today' screen and has to reset the iPAQ to get back to it again. Has anyone else experienced any similar problems? Any suggestions to resolve this?
Fingers crossed for a category 'fix'.
Thanks for a great program, Chris.
