What it does

The main reason for having a Light Sensor in the Touch Diamond/Pro is adjusting backlight, but Windows Mobile doesn’t do a perfect job on it.

G-Light is AGEye’s alternative to a better backlight management, thus improving both screen readability and battery life. Taking advantage of the Light Sensor readings, G-Light uses its set of predefined values to manage the backlight, from a dark room with low or no light (with a corresponding lowest setting, which is much lower than Windows default one) to a bright sunny outdoor (with a corresponding highest setting, higher than Windows default), all in reasonable increments.

After installing it to Device, run it from the Programs menu, where you can also customize the settings to suit your needs. From now on, the backlight will be adjusted automatically.
