Registry Editing Programs

To edit the registry on your phone you need a registry edit program like PHM Registry Editor, Total Commander or CE Reg Editor

Editing the Registry

  • First, to find the registry open your registry editing program > // > ///
  • Now you will see three folders HKCR (HKEY_Classes_Root), HKCU (HKEY_Current_User) and HKLM (HKEY_Local_Machine):
  • An example of how to use this page
    • For getting panoramic pictures you need to go to HKLM/Software/HTC/Camera/Enable
    • This is how you get there:
  • Now for editing the "Enable" DWord key, just click on it and you will get
  • Now you can switch the number to be either 0 or 1
    • 0 = no
    • 1= yes
