Introduction
Have you ever wanted to watch one of your favorite TV shows while you were on the train or away from your home DVR system on your Windows Mobile device? Before we get started, I should mention that this is something that none of the other smartphone operating systems out there are remotely capable of. Secondly, Windows Mobile has been doing it since 2004 with the release of the i-mate JAM and Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition. Unfortunately, between 2005 and 2007, Windows Mobile phones became severely underpowered in the video playback and storage capacity department, but now that 2008 has come around, we've got phones that are fast enough to play quality videos again and memory cards that are big enough to handle plenty of video. So let's get to it.

Conclusion/ Overall Impression
Once set up, using Windows Media Center to sync recorded TV shows to your Windows Mobile phone is the easiest way to make your DVR completely portable. You don't need to buy extra hardware or maintain a high-speed internet connection in order to stream video from your home. You can watch TV on the subway even when there's no phone reception. You don't have to pay for the shows and there's no manual conversion process. The down sides to this set up are; you've got commercials to sit through... and Media Center down-samples the videos to 320x240 pixel resolution, which may be a bit poor on the quality side if you've got a high resolution screen on your Windows Mobile device.
