What it is

Touch Flow 3D is HTC user interface (UI) for it line of touch screen devices. It is first came to light in the Touch Diamond, but earlier versions (touch Flow 2D) came in touch screen devices like the HTC Touch. It consists of several windows in horizontally sliding panel.

The Panels

Each window (panel) represented a different function (home, E-mail, text messages, web browser, settings, programs, e.t.c) The panel sat at the bottom of the screen on the device and moved along as the panels were slide across.

In early versions of the touch 3d, such as on the touch diamond, the panels were not very customizable(without registry hacks) but with the release of devices like the Touch HD, touch diamond 2 and the touch pro 2 we can see the interface is updating along with the devices. In the touch diamond 2 in particular, Each panel can be moved into different positions in the Que, or switched of all together. This has allowed the interface to be much more user friendly, allowing the most used panels to be positioned at the easiest to access panels(first and last)
