What it does

The XPERIA X1 is a fantastic device, but it's not without faults. As we cited in the review, the X1 lacks a bit in the one-handed usability department: there's no hardware Start menu button and no finger-friendly keyboard for quick text message replies without having to slide open the keyboard, among other things.

Well, here are two little apps to increase one-handed usability on the XPERIA X1. First, we have the HTC keyboards ported right from the HTC Touch HD and other HTC devices (first image), which presents you with a T9-style keypad, SureType keyboard, and full keyboard. To install, grab the file and run the CAB on your device (and see the post from XDA for more info).

And second, seen in the second image, we have an app that makes all of the entries in the Start menu larger, and more finger-friendly. To install, grab the file and run the CAB on your device (and see the post from XDA for further info).
